The College has also utilized the cultural and intellectual advantages of Chicago, by hosting speakers from the city, including Frances Willard, founder of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, William G. Stratton, governor of Illinois, and Studs Terkel, renowned radio host and prize-winning author. This photograph shows Carter Davidson (left), a noted news analyst from Chicago, with Rev. George St. Angelo (right), chaplain of the College from 1955-1966, who arranged many speakers on campus through the Chapel Convocation series.
